Join a Fernbank scientist to explore Fernbank Forest, a 65-acre mature mixed-hardwood forest located in the heart of metro Atlanta. Participants will explore the diversity of native wildflowers and learn to identify them by their leaves and flowers.
Sprouting Scientists | Atlanta Science Festival
Discover the fabulous world of plants and animals at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Hands on stations focusing on the natural world will introduce toddlers to life science concepts such as metamorphosis and plant diversity. Sprouting scientists will also notice changes in the garden as it emerges from its winter slumber. Come and run among the spring blooms, listen to bird songs, and have fun at our specially designed stations. Great field trip opportunity!
