Rodale Institute, the University of Georgia Center for Urban Agriculture, and UGA Extension Muscogee County will partner to host the Organic Growers Seminar on Friday, March 27th in Columbus, Georgia from 9:00 AM–3:15 PM. This free, in-person seminar is designed for current and transitioning small-scale organic growers and will be capped at 50 participants.
The program will cover key topics including organic production, organic transplants and seed sourcing, nutrient management, crop planning for market production, pest management, food safety, and GAP certification considerations. A featured hands-on demonstration will engage participants in installing pollinator habitats and creating custom pollinator seed mixes tailored to their farms.
There is no cost to attend but register early as space is limited! Registration deadline is Friday, March 20th!
