It’s almost time for the Great Southeast Pollinator Census!
The 2025 Great Southeast Pollinator Census in Fulton County is scheduled for Saturday August 23, 2025. What is the census? A time to come out to enjoy a day in one of the county’s wonderful gardens to see native plants, enjoy activities, learn about the importance of pollinators and help us count pollinators for the census!
The UGA Extension Fulton County is hosting Census events at five locations on Saturday, August 23rd:
Lost Corner Preserve 10 a.m.– 2 p.m

Autrey Mill Nature Preserve, Summerour House Garden 10 a.m.-noon

Little Diggers Booth At Sandy Springs Farmers Market 8:30 a.m.-noon

Chastain Park, Native Plantgarden 9 a.m.-noon

These locations will have fun activities and everything you need to participate in the Census,
including counting sheets, insect ID guides as well as additional information about pollinators and pollinator gardens. Fulton County Master Gardeners will be available at each site to guide you through everything you need to know. So, let’s all embrace our inner BEE-ing and join the Great Southeast Pollinator Census.
