Special Project Labor Support
Community gardens take time, sweat, and teamwork to keep going. Some seasons and projects require more hands, and sometimes more expertise. Extra support can help you take on projects like building garden beds or installing irrigation. With that help, you can spend more time on what matters most: growing food, sharing knowledge, and bringing neighbors together.
That's why we've expanded labor support for community gardens through the Special Project Labor Support Stipend. These funds cover labor costs for garden projects that need a specialized contractor. Projects can include irrigation installation, shed installation, water line repairs, and more. The stipend is available year-round. You can combine it with the Community Garden Grant to help carry out your project.
The stipend application is SEPARATE from the grant application.
