Soil Festival is on Saturday, May 4 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m at Atlanta’s historic Maddox Park. Get your tickets early to save 20% on admission. We’re offering a special early bird discount when you buy tickets before April 8.
Your ticket covers admission food, beverages, and activities including:
Food Trucks (choose from one of three local food vendors)
Beer Garden, local teas, and juices
Workshops on composting, beekeeping, gardening, and seed starting
Cooking demo
Local growers' panel discussion
Kids Corner
Compost Giveaway
Music
Yoga
And much more!
Plus, we’ll have a plant sale and farmers market with vendors selling locally crafted goods.
The cost of your ticket goes toward providing critical resources to over 300 local farms, community gardens, and orchards. This is a great way to support local growers while learning how to grow your own food. Get ready for a bigger, better Soil Festival!
Austell Selected for the Region’s Next City Agriculture Plan
In collaboration with the Atlanta Regional Commission, Food Well Alliance is pleased to announce that the City of Austell has been chosen for the 2024 City Agriculture Plan. We are inspired by Austell’s commitment to health equity, economic growth, and alleviating food insecurity. We eagerly anticipate the collaboration ahead.
The community engagement phase is set to kick off in March 2024. Stay tuned for updates on how Austell is shaping the local food system and agriculture policy in Cobb County! If you're a member of the Austell community and want to get involved in the community engagement phase, reach out to Emma Hugonnet, Policy and Planning Coordinator, at emma@foodwellalliance.org.
