The Bale Out is a fundraising, knee slapping, high-five giving, good time with local farmers! We'll have live music, delicious food with produce right from the farm, a market, and a raffle to raise money for the Atlanta Farmers Coalition.

The Atlanta Farmers Coalition is raising money and support to help purchase our yearly organic straw bales from Daysprings Farm in Athens. Organic straw bales are hard to come by and even harder to transport for small farmers, let alone put into the fields. It’s tough, but the bales are crucial to our work in providing fresh, healthy vegetables raised in a sustainable manner. This year, we're creating an opportunity for the community to contribute to this vital resource for sustainable nutrition. 

The Atlanta Farmers Coalition was formed to bring together local farmers for collaborations, fellowship, growing opportunities and policy change. We are hoping to raise money and support for purchasing the bales for current members of the Atlanta Farmers Coalition and/or garner help to go bale the hay! 

Please bring your dancing shoes! We will be jamming out at Urban Sprout Farms, an organic urban farm, nursery, and event space.
