Concrete Jungle is teaming up with Trees Atlanta to harvest the beautiful Beltline Plum Orchard! And King of Pops is going to make some delicious plum pops for our volunteers to enjoy with some of the Beltline plums (the majority will be donated to several intown shelters).
If you attend the plum pick on June 15, the plum pops will not be ready yet, but we will make sure you get to sample them once they're done. June 22 folks will get to sample the pops!
The Beltline Plum Orchard is right by the Freedom Park Bridge: https://goo.gl/maps/izNT26FKbmy .
Please note that these plum trees are growing on a steep hill so please wear sturdy shoes. And the trees have grown a LOT over the past year so you will have to do a bit of climbing over or under branches to get into the orchard. We recommend wearing long sleeves and long pants.
