Need volunteers for your next garden project?

Food Well Alliance is excited to partner with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to provide large volunteer groups to support your community garden projects. Typical tasks include weeding, mulching, turning compost, garden beautification, invasive plant removal and planting/harvesting as needed. Need new garden beds or composting bins built? We can do that too.

How Does it Work?

  • Submit your volunteer request below with a description of your project and an estimated number of volunteers needed.

  • Food Well Alliance will coordinate volunteers with the Atlanta Community Food Bank for the date you requested.

  • Food Well Alliance will provide all tools, gloves, water, snacks and instruction for all workday tasks.

Eligibility & Criteria

  • Volunteer groups are available year-round on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9am-12pm.

  • Community gardens must be located in Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties.
