From the team at Food Well Alliance and Truly Living Well, thank you to everyone who made Soil Festival 2019 so special! We are so grateful to all the attendees who came to the farm, as well as the vendors, chefs, exhibitors and volunteers who came together for a great cause. We had an amazing time continuing our tradition of celebrating soil as a key source for building gardens and healthier communities, and we can’t wait until Soil Festival 2020!

Food Well Alliance and Truly Living Well hosted the 5th Annual Soil Festival on May 4, 2019 -- and it was bigger and better than ever before!

Soil Festival is a free, annual festival celebrating soil as a key source for building gardens and healthier communities, held at Truly Living Well’s Collegetown Farm in Atlanta. Soil Festival for all ages and raises awareness of the benefits of using local compost to improve and maintain high quality soil and to grow healthy food.

Soil Festival features educational workshops on gardening and composting; a children’s corner with fun garden-based activities and story time; a variety of urban agriculture vendors to learn tools of the trade from; a petting zoo; and free bags of compost for your garden.

Every year, you’re invited to dig in, meet fellow gardeners, and visit all of the exhibitors who will be sharing resources and tools to help you enjoy the successes of gardening. See you in 2020!
