Growing Out Loud: Journey of a Food Revolutionary

Join Truly Living Well Center for Natural Urban Agriculture as we celebrate the accomplishment of our founder, K. Rashid Nuri in the publication of his book Growing Out Loud: Journey of a food revolutionary. The book Growing Out Loud is an uncompromising, unapologetic polemic that offers solutions for America’s antiquated food system, as well as arguments that demonstrate the failures of the system. Rashid's memoir is a must read for community builders and food growers, and a great way to glean knowledge from his 50-years of experience in urban agriculture.

Enjoy hord'oeuvres from local chefs, light refreshments, hear excepts from the book in Rashid's own voice, and join in the dialogue and discourse about the local food movement.

We look forward to seeing you there! A portion of ticket proceeds benefit Truly Living Well.
