In partnership with Atlanta Regional Commission, Food Well Alliance will embark on a pilot project that brings together local governments and communities across the five-county metro Atlanta region to create a city-wide plan that incorporates urban agriculture into the next phase of their development.
As part of that process, seven cities will host a Community Food Forum to help determine whether they are fully prepared to initiate a plan, which includes making sure community stakeholders, including growers, are engaged and able to participate in the planning process.
The following cities will host a
Community Food Forum in February 2019:
City of East Point
City of Clarkston
City of Pine Lake
City of Lovejoy
City of Lawrenceville
City of Alpharetta
City of Hapeville
