Be inspired by what's growing in Atlanta during Park Pride's Annual Community Garden Tour

Be Inspired by What’s Growing in Atlanta! Join Park Pride for its Community Garden Tour supported by Kaiser Permanente.

Each year, Park Pride brings community garden and urban ag enthusiasts together for a tour of plots and farms across Atlanta and to also have the chance to meet with local garden enthusiasts.

The gardens and farms feature a guided tour and discussion led by gardeners and farmers about their experience in the local food / urban ag movement of Atlanta, gardening and harvesting techniques, operations, community engagement, and outreach strategies.

Whether you are an experienced or novice gardener or interested in learning more about community gardens in Atlanta, the Community Garden Tour will leave you filled with insight and inspiration.

This year, the Community Garden Tour will visit:

  • The Marian Road Senior High Rise Community Garden
  • Farm Chastain Urban Teaching Garden
  • Blue Heron Community and Pollinator Gardens
  • Smith Family Farm Gardens at the Atlanta History Center… featuring chickens, sheep and goats!

Attendees will also enjoy a delicious picnic lunch at the Atlanta History Center!

The tour begins and ends at the Atlanta History Center.
